Landlord Gas Safety Certificate for your rental property
If you’re a landlord, you have a responsibility to ensure that gas appliances in rented properties, whether domestic or commercial, are in safe working order. The legislation requires a gas safety check to be carried out annually and an LGSR or CP12 certificate to be issued.
Gas boilers, fires, hobs and water heaters all need to be included in the inspection and any other gas appliances located in the property.
An annual service and Landlord’s Gas Safety Record (LGSR), keeps your boiler working safely and efficiently. Our gas safe registered engineers are able to spot any problems before they escalate into costly repairs, which means your boiler should be reliable for all the property’s occupants.
If you have a new boiler in your rented property you may also be required to have the boiler serviced every year to uphold your manufacturer warranty.
Saving you time and effort, Ableforce Services can liaise with your tenants for you and notify you once the work is complete. When it comes to renewing your gas check we’ll send you a reminder before it becomes due being more convenient and easier for you.
