Instead of hourly works we may, dependant on the works required, be able to give you a fixed price quote instead of an hourly rate.

Additional information

We also provide fixed price quotes. If you know what service you need or the works have been previously diagnosed, speak to our team, we can give you a competitive fixed price quote that includes labour and materials.
For hourly works a 1 hour minimum charge on hourly rates above is taken upfront, thereafter charged in 30 minute units. You will be kept informed if extra time is required past the 1st hour or materials are needed. If you decide not to go ahead, you will only be charged for the time or materials used. If a return visit is required such as materials are not in stock for that day a quote will be provided for the extra works for the return visit for your acceptance.
CCTV Inspection or CCTV Survey with report for drainage works is not included within the rates and a price will be provided, if requested or required.
For drainage works that require jetting, use of the properties water will be required to carry out the job.
Rates stated are within 30 minutes of office location, anything further travel time will be charged at the hourly rate from our office to the property.
For appliance servicing and safety checks we take the fee upfront in order to schedule the works.
Commercial boiler & Gas safety certificates please request rates from us directly, as this will depend on how many appliances you have, as in some cases we can apply discount for multiple appliances.
Works carried out on bank holidays will be classed as overnight rates.

If applicable the remainder of the payment must be made in full upon completion of works.
Materials are charged at trade prices plus a 20% mark up and are subject to VAT.
Collection of materials for non-stock items is kept to an absolute minimum and will not exceed 30 minutes of the current hourly rates.
There is no surcharge for credit card payments
Prices are subject to VAT
Invoices are digital and a full job sheet and certificate, if applicable, will be provided after the works are carried out.
Key collection, different from the works address, is charged at the hourly rate, from the collection address to the site address and returning the keys is charged, from the site address to the drop off address. A minimum charge of £40 will apply if under 30 minutes.

Payment methods we accept

Credit/debit card payments made through our payment system upon completion of works.
Finance options available on larger works, subject to finance application acceptance and type of works.
Bank transfers accept on commercial works only.

All of our prices that we quote are plus VAT.

All of our charges at Ableforce are completely transparent and fully auditable, giving you confidence that there are no hidden charges.

We do however, have a minimum charge policy of one hour on all our jobs, thereafter our work is charged in 30 minute units. All of our materials are quoted in advance and agreement is confirmed before work commences.
