Conventional boilers are more likely to be found in older type properties but this does not mean they are not a great boiler choice for modern homes that have a large demand for hot water or a large number of bathrooms. These type of boilers require a hot water cylinder and a cold water tank in loft, conventional boilers generally are not suitable for smaller properties such as flats and bungalows.
One thing to keep in mind is that with a conventional boiler you will not be able to get instant hot water straight away. Instead you will need to program your thermostat to heat the water in advance ready for use later on at a time that suits your needs and requirements. The hot water cylinder can only hold so much water dependant on the size, you may sometimes be left without instant access to hot water until the water is heated back up in the cylinder.
