With Anit-Masking grade 3 technology protecting against any attempts to mask the detector, with materials such as: cardboard, duct tape, sprays, lacquers or foil. And Anti-Blocking Grade 4 technology systems in place to prevent the system from being armed if there is anything blocking the field of view of any of the sensors within the detector. This would need to be moved before the system can be armed.
There are two PIRs (passive infrared, that detect heat energy) of the XDL12TT-AM. The top PIR detects outwards and up while the bottom detects outwards and down, without either-crossing the central horizontal place between them. This set up of non-overlapping PIR sensors, delivers highly secure sequential detection and increases its tolerance to pet immunity. This means it very unlikely that your pets will set off the sensors, setting off a false alarm.
PRODUCT FEATURES
This sensor is also a pet immune detector, meaning that animals less than 20kg can roam around the property without fear of the alarm being triggered. It also comes with sealed optics meaning that it protects against the potential infestation from insects, shields air movement in front of the pyroelectric sensor and protects against adverse reflections from inside the detector housing.
This products is specifically designed to be placed in positions where it is necessary for a shock sensor and magnetic contact to be present, such as: doors and window frames, wall and ceilings, two sensors in one.
